Destiny Numbers
Why was I born? What am I here for? What is my destiny? Are these familiar questions? Whether you know it or not, you're here on this physical Earth for a reason, a purpose. You are here to learn what must be mastered in order to be successful in this life. As in any school, but especially the school of life, we must learn the basic lessons we need to move from grade to grade. In Numerology, the grades go from 1 to 9. Again, as in any school, if you fail to learn the lessons or fail to pass the tests that must eventually be taken, you will be left back until you master the fundamentals or make up the lessons.
To find out what lessons you have to learn, and what grade you have attained in this physical life, the rule of thumb is to add up all the numbers of your birthday. For instance, let's take someone born February 15, 1948:
2 (Birth Month) 15 (Birth Date) 1948 (Birth Year) 1965 = 21 (2+1 =3) 3 is the Destiny Number
This person's destiny number, or grade, in this life is the number 3. Also, consider the day on which you were born as additional information on your destiny. In our example the birth date is the 15th, which adds up to 6 (1+5=6). This means the number 6 plays an equally important part in this person's destiny.
Add up your birthday numbers in this manner, as well as those of your family members, loved ones, and friends, to find the destiny number. Once you've found it, study what lessons are required of you for personal happiness and success. Next, consider your birth date number to gain further insight. Don't forget, if you fail to learn the required lessons, you may get left back in the school of life. If you're not prepared, this could be a crushing blow.
